Teeth will naturally build up a layer of plaque over time, eventually leading to bacteria and tartar build-up. As a result, our pets end up with a red gum line (gingivitis), tooth pain and infection, bad breath and a bacterial risk to the heart and liver.
Where possible, we want to prevent this happening. So what can we do?
- Remove tartar, scale and polish the teeth.
- Perform digital dental x-rays to confirm tooth quality.
- Treat and manage any dental disease.
